Cultivated and celebrated in Japan and South Korea , the yuzu occupies an important place in Eastern culture . _
Its zest and juice are prized by the best chefs . The taste is reminiscent of citron , a mixture of lime , yellow mandarin and orange . Between freshness and exoticism, its fragrance is revitalizing and energizing .
Tonic , the yuzu scent is more complex than lemon , simpler than orange, and above all exotic. The fragrance rightly calls for summer freshness , sparkling character and sparkling green accents . _ _ The yuzu also reveals subtle notes of tea, white flower petals and a light musky veil .
Used in traditional medicine for centuries for its many benefits, yuzu is known for:

"Each candle is made according to ancestral know-how and in an artisanal way in our workshop in Normandy; their fragrance comes from a mixture of natural and synthetic raw materials. Since 2022, all of our candles and botanical palets are formulated with a 100% vegetable wax based on organic rapeseed.
To limit the environmental impact of the packaging, no plastic or superfluous packaging is used. Carrière Frères chooses to favor a natural approach with boxes made of 100% recycled and recyclable FSC paper, labels made of FSC paper (40% recycled) and printing using vegetable-based inks.
- Trim wicks to 1/4 inch with each use.
- Place the candle on a heat resistant surface
- Allow the wax to melt to the edge of the candle each time you use it to prevent tunneling.
- Keep candles away from drafts to ensure a clean , smokeless burn .
- Stop burning a candle when less than a quarter inch of wax remains.
